Schindler's Factory is now a museum dedicated to the history of Krakow during World War II. Located in the Podgórze district, the former enamelware factory became famous thanks to Steven Spielberg's film "Schindler's List."

The museum houses the permanent exhibition "Krakow under Nazi Occupation 1939-1945," an immersive journey that tells the story of daily life during the occupation through photographs, documents, personal objects and reconstructions. Oskar Schindler's original office is preserved inside the museum.

Schindler saved over 1,100 Jews from extermination by employing them in his factory. The visit is a profound and educational experience about resistance and humanity in dark times.

Schindler's Factory, located in the Zabłocie district of Krakow, was founded in 1937 as an enamelware factory. During World War II, German industrialist Oskar Schindler used it to employ and protect over 1,200 Jewish workers from Nazi extermination. His story became famous thanks to Steven Spielberg's film "Schindler's List" (1993). Today the building houses the museum "Krakow under Nazi Occupation 1939-1945", one of the most visited museums in Poland, telling the story of daily life during the occupation through documents, photographs and interactive installations.
