How to Get to Krakow
By Train
The central station Kraków Główny is located in the heart of the city, a few steps from Rynek Główny. Connected to Warsaw (2.5 hours) and other European cities with PKP Intercity high-speed trains.
By Plane
John Paul II Krakow-Balice Airport (KRK) is about 11 km from the center. Connected with direct flights from many European cities (Ryanair, Wizz Air). The shuttle train reaches the central station in 20 minutes.
By Car
Krakow is accessible via major Polish motorways. The old town is largely a pedestrian zone, but there are numerous underground parking garages near the Rynek.
Getting Around
The old town is easily explored on foot. The MPK tram and bus network covers the entire city. Tickets can be purchased via the mKKM app or at ticket machines at stops.
